Two Cabarrus County wrestlers claim state titles

Two wrestlers won state championships for Cabarrus County at the N.C. High School Athletic Association individual state championships in Greensboro.
 
Cameron Gue of Mount Pleasant won the 132-pound weight class in the 4A classification. Gue recorded a fall against First Flight’s Christian Riddick at the 3:29 mark of the championship match.

Girls Wrestling Championship Results

Michaila Johnson of Cox Mill won the 165-pound weight class in the 7A classification, pinning Cecelia Nunemacher of Cardinal Gibbons at the 4:58 mark of the championship match.
