Grades and Attendance: All students must be academically eligible by passing at least 5 out of 6 classes (this includes core and encore classes) and not miss more than 13 days the previous semester of school.  Please do not look at the whole year grades and attendance as we are required to look at the previous semester only when determining athletic eligibility.

Fall (1st) semester athletic eligibility is determined by the previous Spring (2nd) semester academics and attendance. 

Spring (2nd) semester athletic eligibility is determined by the previous Fall (1st) semester academics and attendance.

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026-2027 SPORTS SEASON WILL OCCUR ON WWW.DRAGONFLYMAX.COM 

Please do not attempt to register for 26-27 season until July 1, 2026.

You must choose Hickory Ridge MS as the school when registering.  All students must be completely registered  (100 percent) including an up to date physical (within the last year) physical and medical eligibility form in dragonfly prior to be allowed to participate in tryouts or practice.

Please hover over the tabs at the top of the page for information for Hickory Ridge MS Athletics and team specific information. Students in 7th or 8th grade are able to tryouts for athletics. 

Sports for the “Fall” season include football, softball, and Fall Cheerleading.

The first day of tryouts for the Fall season is Monday August 17th for football and softball. 

The first day of tryouts for Fall Cheerleading is Monday August 3rd.
