Below is an overview of each athletic season, including sports offerings, parent meeting dates, and tryout start dates. All dates are subject to change.

NCMS Mandatory Athletic Meeting
There will be a mandatory parent meeting at the beginning of each season. If you were unable to attend the in person parent meeting, the NCMS athletic department will be sending out the mandatory parent presentation via Parent Square. It will contain a presentation link for parents/guardians to view and acknowledge through the google form slide at the end. This link can also be found on the Northwest Cabarrus HQ link above. Please contact the coach if you have any sport specific questions. Their email can be found on the teams tab on the NCMS athletics site.

Dragonfly
2026-27 Dragonfly registrations should be ready to fill out starting on 6/1 per CCS. Please refrain from filling these out until after that date to make sure the student athlete is registered for the correct school year.

Students must have DragonFly 100% complete and receive a wristband before participating in workouts or tryouts. During the school year, wristbands will be distributed during the school day. Due to summer workouts, Fall sports wristbands will also be distributed on select summer dates listed below.

Ticket Information

All Cabarrus County and Kannapolis City Schools athletic events will use the GoFan online ticketing platform. Families are strongly encouraged to create an account and download the app.

Home and away game tickets can be purchased through the NCMS GoFan page, with tickets going on sale during the week of each event.

NO CASH will be accepted at the gate.
