Athletic Participation Information

2026–27 DragonFly registration will open on June 1st per CCS. Please wait until after June 1st to complete registration to ensure student-athletes are registered for the correct school year.

Students must have a 100% completed DragonFly registration, including a current physical uploaded to DragonFly, before participating in workouts or tryouts. Once eligibility is approved, student-athletes will receive a wristband from the Athletic Director. Athletes must have a wristband to participate.

NO WRISTBAND = NO PARTICIPATION

During the school year, wristbands will be distributed during the school day. Due to summer workouts, Fall Sports wristbands may also be picked up on the following dates:

• July 21 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• July 22 | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• July 28 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• July 29 | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• August 3 | 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Physical Forms

A physical examination must be completed by a licensed medical professional. The Pre Participation Examination and Medical Eligibility forms must be fully completed, signed by the physician, and include the medical office stamp to be considered valid. Once completed, the forms must be uploaded to the appropriate sections in DragonFly for approval by the Athletic Director and Athletic Trainer.

Student-Athlete Insurance Information

All Cabarrus County School students are provided voluntary student insurance applications at the beginning of each school year that details options and pricing for student insurance. Parents may obtain information & purchase insurance on the link listed below. This is a great option for student athletes who may not have insurance coverage.
