For student athletes entering college during Fall of 2016, the required grade point average will be a minimum core GPA of 2.30 versus the minimum core GPA of 2.00 that is in effect now. It is vital for student athletes to understand that each high school academic year counts and therefore should always remain an important part of the student athlete’s priorities.
