Mount Pleasant High School hosted the Mount Pleasant Holiday Classic from December 27th to the 29th with teams from around the area competing. The three day tournament consisted of 24 games each for men’s and women’s basketball teams from the area.
Central Cabarrus Men’s Basketball made it all the way to the finals on Friday, December 29th and defeated Charlotte Catholic Men’s Basketball 85 to 56.

Desmond Kent Jr was also named the MVP of the tournament and was selected to the All Tournament Team.
