Swimming & Diving

The 2026 Swimming & Diving Championships took place from February 11 – 14.

Concord Men’s Swimming finished Runner-Up on Saturday, February 13 with a final overall score of 202 behind Brunswick’s 254.

So. swimmer Andy Willis, pictured on the right below, won the Farm Bureau Sportsmanship Award.

Concord Women’s Swimming finished in 6th place on Saturday, February 13 with a final overall score of 128.

Sr. swimmer Lily Herman won the NCHSAA Most Outstanding Swimmer Award.

Indoor Track

The 2026 Indoor Track & Field Championships took place on February 11 and 12, and February 18 and 19.

Jay M. Robinson Men’s Indoor Track took home the championship with an overall score of 78 to runner-up Jordan’s score of 46.

Sr. runner Cameron Tucker won the NCHSAA Most Outstanding Participant Award.

Sr. swimmer Lily Herman won the NCHSAA Most Outstanding Swimmer Award.

So. runner Nehemiah Chung, pictured on the right below, won the Farm Bureau Sportsmanship Award.

Wrestling

The 2026 Dual Team Wrestling State Championships took place on February 16 and 17

Mount Pleasant Wrestling competed but fell in the first round. 

7A

Cox Mill and West Cabarrus Wrestling competed but fell in the first round. 

Hickory Ridge Wrestling made it to the regional semi-finals but fell to Davie County 60 to 17 overall

The 2026 Individual Wrestling State Championships took place between February 19 and 21.

Mount Pleasant Sr. Cameron Gru won the 4A 132lb state championship.
